Press Release Body: Los Angeles, CA/September 23 , 2008 – Sourena Vasseghi, author
of the award winning and critically acclaimed book Love Your Life and It Will Love
You Back will be speaking to the #1 ranked University of Southern California
football team. He will be speaking to the team on October 1st, 2008 at the
conclusion of football practice. Vasseghi, a USC graduate with a degree in
marketing, has a unique relationship with USC Head Coach Pete Carroll. Meeting
years ago, Vasseghi gave his manuscript for Love Your Life to Carroll. From there a
relationship was forged, and Vasseghi has been a regular visitor to USC games and
practices. Also, he has become a fixture on the USC football team’s website
www.uscripsit.com with a weekly feature called Sourena’s Sentiments, a humorous and
thoughtful blog linking sports and life through his unique perspective. Born with
severe cerebral palsy and confined to a wheelchair, Vasseghi hasn’t let his
disability stop his ambition or his spirit.

“Sourena’s heart and passion for living has inspired me and changed my life. He has
so much to share with all people from all walks,” says Coach Carroll.

Sourena and his family came to the United States from Iran in 1979. He became
interested in business while working for his father’s three restaurants as a youth.
He now manages his own consulting and speaking business from his California home
with the assistance of his interpreter Rich Finley.

“I am always thrilled to go back to my alma mater and have an opportunity to give
back,” Vasseghi said “Coach Carroll is an extremely good friend and any chance I
have to come and add something to the program, I’m honored.”

Sourena’s passionate goal is to reach thousands of people with his message of love
and personal accountability, hoping to make a positive impact on their lives.
Sourena has been featured in articles written specifically about him in LA Business
Journal as well as a feature story on NBC News Channel 4 in Los Angeles.
